Probably one of the worst car parks I’ve ever used. Not only is it ridiculously expensive, but trying to pay and leave is almost impossible - issue with the app not picking up my number plate has spent 30 odd minutes trying to pay and reach customer service. You’d think in today’s world their would be a card machine there to pay..simple!
Today at 16.28, our car’s rear window was broken and our luggage was stolen in the middle of the day. Do not park here!!!!!!!. We did not read the comments before parking but now we read that this happened to many cars.we couldn’t reach them via Q-park phone number and sent a long e-mail. We called the police. Our car was near the camera and we will see if they have the records or they dont. Everything happened in two hours. We have flight tomorrow and without our luggage. We are lucky to have our passports with us but somebody can not be.. so be aware that nobody assists, your belongings can be stolen and your car can be damaged. Update: no cctv record (according to official police report-photo added)
So much for a secure car park… Parked here on the 12th August Had my car broken into which was parked in view of the security hut, When I asked where the security guard was I was told the car park isn’t manned all the time. Only thing they advised was to call the police and go through my insurance Parked for 5 hours and charged £50, Was told I would receive a refund however still waiting
Warning: Do not under any circumstances park in any of Q Park company car parks! My child has been extremely stressed out by an incident that occurred recently. Both back windows of our car were smashed, and our belongings were stolen. Shockingly, there was no one present in the car park office to assist us during this distressing situation. When we called the helpline, they informed us that they did not have any personnel available to check the CCTV footage due to the "winter wonderland" event. I strongly suspect that the car park itself is involved in these offenses, as no other cars were affected. It seems they monitor the cameras to identify when people place valuable items in their cars, and then inform the robbers when to strike. It is outrageous that we paid £60 for parking only to experience this ordeal. Despite claiming to be a winner of safe parking, it is evident that this is not the case. I urge everyone to stay away from this company and any of their services.Additionally, I would like to mention that the Q Park team only provided us with an email address to contact them further regarding the incident. There was no on-site assistance or support available at the location. This lack of immediate help and guidance further adds to our frustration and disappointment with the company.
