These Terms & Conditions ('T&Cs') govern the relationship between The Storage Scanner V.O.F. ('TSS', 'we', 'our', or 'us') and all individuals or businesses ('User', 'you') who use our website, platform, or related services to compare, search, or obtain information about self-storage providers.
By accessing or using our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these T&Cs as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
1.1 TSS operates an online comparison platform available at www.thestoragescanner.com and its localized versions ('Platform').
1.2 The Platform enables Users to search for, compare, and obtain information about self-storage facilities and services offered by independent third-party providers ('Providers').
1.3 TSS is not a storage company and does not offer, rent, or manage storage units.
1.4 All listings, prices, and availability displayed on the Platform originate from Providers. Any rental or booking agreement is concluded directly between the User and the Provider under the Provider’s own terms and conditions.
1.5 TSS does not act as agent, broker, or guarantor and is not responsible for the performance of any Provider.
2.1 You may use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these T&Cs.

3.1 Automated data collection (e.g., scraping, bots, spiders, crawlers) is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from TSS.

4.1 TSS strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information but cannot guarantee completeness, accuracy, or timeliness.
4.2 Prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice.
4.3 TSS does not verify every listing and assumes no liability for errors or omissions in Provider data.
4.4 TSS gathers and aggregates publicly available data of self-storage providers and displays this information in accordance with applicable EU law. If any provider does not wish to be listed on our website, they can contact us at info@thestoragescanner.com, and their information will be removed as soon as possible.
5.1 TSS acts solely as a comparison intermediary.
5.2 TSS is not a party to any agreement between User and Provider and assumes no responsibility for:

5.4 To the fullest extent permitted by law, TSS’s total liability shall not exceed €100 or the equivalent amount in local currency.

6.2 Visiting third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.
7.1 When submitting an inquiry or contact form, you agree that your data (name, email, phone number, and message) may be shared with the selected Provider to process your request.
7.2 TSS may temporarily store lead data for processing, verification, and analytics in compliance with the GDPR.
7.3 Users are responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate and lawful.
8.1 TSS processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
8.2 Details are provided in our Privacy Policy.
8.3 Each Provider is an independent data controller for data received through a User inquiry.
8.4 TSS is not responsible for how Providers process User data once transmitted.
9.1 TSS strives for continuous availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
9.2 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Platform (temporarily or permanently) without prior notice.
9.3 TSS shall not be liable for downtime, maintenance, or technical interruptions.
10.1 All content on the Platform (texts, logos, graphics, software, layout) is owned or licensed by TSS and protected by copyright and related laws.
10.2 Users may view and use the content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use requires written permission.
11.1 Users may stop using the Platform at any time.
11.2 If you have created an account, you can request deletion by emailing info@thestoragescanner.com.
11.3 Upon verified request, TSS will delete your account and related personal data without undue delay, except where retention is required for legal, security, or tax purposes.

13.1 TSS may update these T&Cs to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes.
13.2 The most recent version is always available on our website with the effective date.
13.3 Continued use of the Platform after publication of an updated version constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
If any provision of these T&Cs is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. The invalid clause shall be replaced by one reflecting the original intent as closely as possible.
