Update (Oct 2025): I visited the office onsite for clarification for the second time in June 2025. The issue concerning the €5.95 fine each month and the lock on my storage unit was finally identified — the payment for December 2024 had not been processed. This had not been clarified during my previous visit in January 2025.During this visit, I met Jakub, who started working at MyPlace in March 2025. Communication with him was clear and efficient. As a gesture of goodwill, Jakub waived the recurring fine and explained that a new keypad system for the access PIN had been installed. The numbers now change order automatically each time, which enhances security after the previous break-in incident. He also told me some thieves were even caught at other locations thanks to these stronger security measures.Since meeting Jakub, my experience with MyPlace Storage has been satisfactory. The facility is clean and well maintained, and the management is now clear. The location is excellent — within walking distance of several public transport options.Overall, MyPlace is a convenient and good choice for storage needs.I rented a unit at Myplace (2 Ellen-Epstein-Straße). 1. Three months after renting, I received a message saying that there had been a break-in at the storage place. There was no single word of apology for such a serious issue in the storage service, no information about a police report, just a notification to check. 2. There was a charge of the monthly rental fee on my credit card record. The storage place said they did not charge it. I asked multiple times, and they kept silent. My bank advised me to file a fraud report for this case, after knowing this, they suddenly woke up and admitted they had charged it. How shameful. 3. I received a notification from nowhere saying that I have unpaid fees, threatening that they were going to cancel the contract if I did not pay what they asked for. I asked for a copy of the contract, and they did not provide one. They told me they charge the fee every four weeks, so there are 13 payments each year. All the above happenings should be taken into consideration if you want to use their service. Obviously, they manipulated online reviews on other platforms. Their website customer service is in Vienna, and they are only nice when receiving new customers and push away any questions afterwards, saying that they are in Vienna, not Germany.
