For the past few years, I've rented storage space from De Opslagman in Zoetermeer. I chose De Opslagman based on their competitive rates and reviews. It's been an excellent choice. Everything is neatly arranged online, access is via a code, the building is clean and tidy, there's covered loading and unloading, free use of rolling containers, carts, cameras, etc., and a very spacious elevator. Changing boxes also goes smoothly at De Opslagman. Highly recommended if you're looking for storage space.
Cheap and full of options for everyone
We started renting a storage unit from Opslagman.nl this week. Everything can be arranged online, but if you have any questions, the very friendly customer service team is happy to assist and offer help and advice. Email customer service is also easily accessible. We preferred a 6m³ storage unit, but it turned out to be unavailable, so we started with a 3m³ unit. However, you can easily swap units in your portal, and you can see how many units are available for a specific cubic meter. There was also a 4m³ unit listed that you can't find on the website (same as a 9m³ unit, which they do have, but isn't listed!). So we swapped from 3m³ to 4m³. We did have to pay the deposit and rent twice, but within two days, the money for the 3m³ unit was fully refunded. The deposit is €50, and you can buy a lock from the vending machine for €15, or you can bring your own that fits. Security appears to be well-organized, with personal codes, numerous cameras, and a secure gate providing access to the grounds. The building features several trolleys and an elevator to transport your belongings to your storage unit. Everything looks neat and tidy, with ample lighting in the hallways, and almost all storage units are numbered, making the signage throughout the building easy to follow.
