The storage unit is nice and the app works well but the elevator situation means I’m often waiting for the company next door, I have yet to show up and just be able to store my items easily without waiting 15-30 minutes. Had i known about the elevator situation i would have rented elsewhere even jf more expensive

Once you can access your storage unit, it's fine. But getting there is often a challenge. I've been renting for about two months now and have already arrived six times with a full car, but to no avail. The elevator wasn't working, was full of Rataplan items, or was occupied by Rataplan for extended periods. As a result, I couldn't store my belongings. In practice, as a renter, you're too dependent on the thrift store for its elevator. Advice: choose a storage unit with better access control and where you're not dependent on third parties, or go outside Rataplan's opening hours (open 7 days a week), and keep your fingers crossed that the elevator works and isn't full of junk.

Excellent storage space, check-in and check-out went very smoothly. We did have some issues with the elevator, though. Twice, when large items needed to be moved to the storage unit, it broke down, and then again while emptying the storage unit. Otherwise, we were satisfied with our time there.

Worthless company!! You call at 22:15 to open the gate that does not open, you then call customer service that works until 21:00 which is unreachable. You chat with them, available 24/7, by the way, you get an ai bot with general answers that we will contact you the next day! Then after sleeping in the car on the premises all night, you call customer service at 8:00 the next morning they still can't help you and you are still there while we should be on our way to our holiday destination! Very unprofessional and (again) worthless 👎🏻 I wish I could give them -5 stars because that is what they deserve!!
