A very huge thank you to Esmeralda for all the help she provided on call! She answered all of my questions and explained everything clearly, helped me with my storage situation during a stressful move despite being in another city, and made the whole process much easier. Thank you so much! :))
Had a positive experience with Shurgard - this is my 2nd time renting a storage space with them. And props to Esmeralda who was very helpful on the phone in regards to how the process of terminating the contract goes. Would rent again! :)
The service was terrible and very racist. On February 9, 2026, the customer service representative informed us that she would only sign a contract with someone who spoke perfect English or Dutch. Despite booking online a week earlier, the storage unit was not rented to me. I was left at the Breda office with a loaded car and trailer. Fortunately, a competing company doesn't require perfect English skills. I do not recommend Shurgad Breda.
