I can see why this particular branch gets a low score, the customer service needs looking at very unfriendly and very unhelpful. Its like they just cant be bothered. Not sure if it was because I am female or they were just having a bad day but either way I will go to a different branch of Howdens in the future and avoid this one.

Shockingly bad company. My 90 year old mother ordered nice replacement doors. They sent a man who made a huge error in measurements...the units we had were not suitable for their doors, they wouldn't fit. But no, they didn't tell us that. Weeks later after a huge extra cost of adjustments by our kitchen fitter, things do not line up and it looks awful. We are very disappointed and out of pocket. We should have been told their replacements would not fit. Please do not trust their measuring service one iota

Nightmare experience. Do you want to be treated poorly and to spend money out of pocket for someone else's mistakes? Choose Howdens! I ordered a small, very simple kitchen and Howdens Woodford somehow managed to botch the planning. Due to an error in their planning, after two weeks and a half the kitchen was still not completed and the support/refund they offered ranged from non-existent to laughable and insulting. They also forgot to supply a very important inner shelf and they did not seem to give any attention to my e-mails, I had to chase them, though they perfectly knew I was experiencing a massive inconvenience. The worst part is the abysmal customer care from the store: they lack any kind of accountability and keep on gaslighting and blaming me for their poor job. Truly a textbook of what not to do with customer service. I suffered from an economic backlash (I will have to pay out of pocket for their mistakes) and an emotional one. They refuse to take accountability and blame my builder, who was the only person who actually helped me. No one from their headquarters even reached out to me, which I find simply shocking. This nightmare brought so much stress on my household. I highly advise not to use this company because they clearly think poorly of their customers and do not want issues to be solved properly.

I and my Company have used the Woodford Branch of Howdens for the past few years, the other branches were good, but this Branch is excellent. Although we don't visit often and full Kitchen fit outs are rare for us. Sometimes our orders are very small, but we are still treated with respect and feel as valued as regular customers. When we do order full kitchens, every order we have received, has been delivered in full, nothing missing ever ! Even if we just need a bit of advice, there's no better place to visit.Ignore the short, unexplained, negative reviews, there's nothing but positive things to say about this branch and all the staff.Regards Steve (Csi Maintenance ltd)
