Fraudulent, deceptive, unethical and insecure storage facility with that violates consumer rights - please avoid using this storage facility at all costs. I have rented storage units for years with success and have not once ever encountered such a bewilderingly unprofessional company that has left me worried about my belongings and unable to access the facility I am paying for, giving my bank details for monthly payments and being overcharged due to internal management errors and lack of internal communication. Having signed for, and authorised, a hefty monthly direct debit payment for my unit- the company has consistently and numerously failed to set this up efficiently (despite having to re-ask) and on the correct given date. Some months the StoreBox indeed decide to process the payment automatically, and others they do not- there is no consistency or warning for either. Instead, they will without notification, warrant and completely ‘out of the blue’ , suddenly tell you that you are behind on a payment - that should have been processed automatically by themselves on the contractual date under the direct debit established. Emails of this nature also do not come from directly StoreBox but various other unrecognised names and numbers with neither cc’d in for clarity. This is not the first instance this has occurred and I was reassured the direct debit had been rectified. Having travelled down this weekend especially from 2 hours away, I was shocked to find an overlock had been placed on my unit - refusing entry despite being up to date in all payments and having confirmed no payments pending with my bank. It has since been confirmed Storebox failed to set up the authorised direct debit as stated within my contract and I can only think the company are purposely hoping for double payment. The site has no staff on duty during the weekend, a time when many people will be using the facility, and you will be left paying for a unit/service you are unable to access.
My experience with BWI Self Storage was excellent! I have never seen a user friendly Storage better then BWI. Especially Debbie, Haseem, & Nathan was fabulous. They were at their best to help me, support me, talk to me in my difficult moment. They understand my circumstances and feeling as well as taking time to listen to me. I really appreciate it all! BWI storage was great for us for the interim of a house move. Not too far away. Nathan was always cheerful and helpful. The unit we had was number 39 which was a large one - can’t remember exact size - was on ground floor and had a ledge on a high level which was great for putting extra boxes. Opened access doors nearer to the unit for us to make it easier. Only down side are opening times at the weekend of 10-3pm for us personally as on a time limit when we had more time. Would recommend this storage facility. Thanks guys!
