I have had a small storage unit at SCA to house some excess stock and archives for my small business. The process setting it up was very quick and efficient, staff have been very friendly and I have always received quick responses to any queries. It's ideal to be able to access the unit out of hours as I have to access stock at short notice. I would definitely recommend
Welcoming staff with lots if knowledge about the type and size of storage for a car and personal belongings. It's very secure with access 24/7. Very clean and tidy inside the building but also on the outside parking areas/driveway. Would recommend them to anyone wanting a personal touch to their storage.
Easily the worst storage experience I've ever had. The company and individuals are incredibly difficult to communicate with, never came through on time with anything they said they would and needed constant chasing to complete anything, yet hounded me incessantly and rudely on the occasion they wanted something from me (this was asking me to move my items into the container which was a month overdue being ready for me). They lost items and never made any attempt to make up for them, or even apologise. Even worse, they allocated me a unit considerably smaller than what the contract stated. It had huge metal beams intersecting the space, making it incredibly difficult to use. The space beyond the beams was useless for the majority of the items I had in there. I thought it seemed smaller than expected but it wasn't until I measured it that the truth was revealed. It was 25% smaller than contracted. When I confronted them about it, and obviously had to chase them up for a response, they made no apology or attempt to rectify the inconvenience, or repay me for the extra space they were charging for. When I'd had enough and moved elsewhere, they had the cheek to try and charge me for the remainder of the contract they had (and admitted they had) broken. When I pointed out that the amount they'd overcharged me was more than what they were asking, they didn't mention it again and said I was free to end the contract. I never missed a payment, or was even late paying on any occasion during my time using the facility. I assume they treat all honest customers like this but can only speak from my experience: Ineptitude, blatant deception, gross negligence and essentially, a horrible company I had the misfortune to deal with. Avoid at all costs.
I needed storage quickly while moving house and SCA were a lifesaver. Got a unit sorted the same day and the team were really friendly and easy to deal with. Place is clean, secure and handy to get to. Made a stressful move a lot easier!
