My monthly payment amount has changed multiple times without any confirmation to me as to why, I get no response via email. Such a shame as the original company were excellent to deal with.Edit: they also did not refund me the promised amount and still won’t reply to me

I used this company when it was MyStore, at which point I would have rated it five stars as the service was always very good and facilities great. However, I had a very bad experience when attempting to rent from them again recently now that they have changed to UK Storage Company. I requested to use my unit out of hours during a weekend when first moving in. There were issues with the app and the lift, with none of the buttons working in the lift even after my pin was accepted. I called emergency support who could not help and then I emailed the company to complain. Come Monday, I had expected a sincere apology and recognition of the time wasted and serious inconvenience not being able to access my unit had incurred, but instead a member of staff tried repeatedly to deny my experience, by claiming I'd entered the wrong floor number despite me having explained multiple times at every point of my complaint that NONE of the buttons in the lift had been working. I was being gaslit, patronised and invalidated, and at this point I refused to deal with the company any further as this is not behaviour I find acceptable or tolerable. It took multiple emails and calls to complain but eventually I was refunded and my contract cancelled. I sought storage elsewhere. It's a shame MyStore closed as their treatment of customers was infinitely better than UK Storage Company. Apparently action is being taken against the staff member who gaslit and patronised me, but I could have really done without the experience, as well as all the hassle over my unit.

MyStore is the first experience I have had of using storage and I am so impressed. From the lovely ladies in reception to the efficient and effective way the system for using storage space works, the whole thing has been a really impressive and easy experience. Very personal, caring, safe and secure.

We are completely new to storage facilities but the staff we interacted with at MyStore, Sarah, Tracy and Shannon were exceptionally helpful. We were advised to make a preliminary visit and given a tour so that we had a clear understanding of the facilities, security and pricing structure. We have now taken up a storage unit to help with a house move and the site is clean, dry and secure with welcoming staff available during their office hours.
