I requested to close my account/unit and was given the two week notice period. Emptied the unit, paid the last of what was owed and the cleaning fee. Thought everything was finished.. but no! They then took another £124 out! When I called they said that the direct debit remains open until the two week period is finished, even though everything was settled. Would have been nice to be told these are the terms so I could be prepared as I am now overdrawn with my bank and the money will get sent back in 3-5 working days! Not good enough.

It was easy to use the service. The code has to be put into the gate and the main door twice which made it a bit awkward when we had more than one trolley to move, but I prefer that to a more lack sense of security. The clean, big bathroom was a nice touch. The units were spacious but it got a bit hot in the middle of the day. Especially on the 2nd floor. The metal box heats up, gurrs!

A very clean and convenient storage unit to use. At first I was a little concerned that it was an unmanned site but in fact this was never an issue. I had the unit for a couple of years and never had a problem with access, parking or the site being clean and secure. Trolleys and lifts were always available. Setting up the unit was very easy and when I realised I had initially booked the wrong size and needed to change it a quick phone call was all it took to get an immediate change. Ending the contract was equally painless. I would use them again if needed.

Accessible site on Milner Street, good room dimensions, with a broad selection of sizes & price to suit your needs.Some "hidden charges" compared to other storage companies, but they're explained clearly up front (you have to buy their barrel lock the first time; optional 24x7 access carries a small extra fee; small cleaning fee payable on vacation) which can make it tricky to fairly compare prices with other providers, but I found overall they were notably cheaper especially with the promo 12 week discount.I was able to change on the spot (arranged over the phone) into a smaller unit on the same floor, as my needs changed, which saved me £30 a month. Very handy.Customer services responds promptly to phone & email, but the website is very basic and "clunky" with limited functions, e.g. no access to statements or T&C's. You have to contact customer services for that.
