From the 1st point of contact to the last, absolute shambles. Couldn't/ wouldnt confirm total price at the start, and then took an amount from my bank without an invoice, notice or authorisation. The amount taken was twice what I had already paid, emails sent and not one reply to apologise or explain. Don't touch with a barge pole, they just try to get as much money as they can from you!!
Firstly your forced to buy a lock for 14 quid they probably pay a quid for instead of getting door locks that allow you to use your own they have cleverly chose ones that allow them to sell locks to you without choice. No doubt they will claim this makes the locks safer, when in reality it’s just the same sliding piece of metal going into the frame as any other storage facility.The moving in procedure is quite simple you pay and then the leave the lock in the unit on the floor , my unit was not covered by cctv outside which was a little worry after reading reviews from the past about units being opened so I never actually left anything valuable in there.Phoned up to give two weeks notice then again on the day no problem, staff on phone was polite and helpful.You then pay 8 pound for cleaning fee the day you move out which is just as laughable as the lock they make you buy. Definitely the worst out of the storage units I’ve used in the past.
I used uk storage in Liverpool for 3 months to store my furniture whilst in between moving houses Would highly recommend this company the building is clean tidy with toilet facilities and 24 hour access Also the Cheapest rates .
