Negative review. It's a shame, I'd been renting a storage unit for about two years at the Avenue des États-Unis location and never had any problems until now. I received a phone call from the company informing me that they were going to move my belongings to a unit at the Atlanta location because of cracks; they would have to close the Avenue des États-Unis site. I'm away on business and working. The woman on the phone assured me that they would take care of moving everything to the new unit without me being present. So I wasn't able to visit the unit before my belongings were transferred. And now I understand why. The Atlanta location is further away than the Avenue des États-Unis location. They threw my things haphazardly into the unit (heavy boxes on top of boxes marked "fragile"). My unit is on the second floor, right at the back. Furthermore, it's triangular in shape with a post in the middle that encroaches on the available space. My furniture is difficult to store. I understand better now why they told me my presence wasn't required. If I had been able to visit the storage unit before my belongings were moved, I wouldn't have signed a new contract and I would have looked for another storage location. Furthermore, the price is still the same even though the unit is smaller and further from the city center. Leaderbox, you're not fulfilling your part of the contract to properly store my belongings. Meanwhile, I'm still paying the rent on time. I've sent an email to customer service. In short, until now I was fine, but I'm no longer at ease with Leaderbox. I work in another region, so I'll have to look for another storage facility.
