After six months of storing our ground floor apartment at Boxaround, we found ourselves in a nightmare. Upon opening the box, everything was covered in mouse droppings and urine. All the sofas, rugs, and curtains were corroded and utterly filthy. The stench... Even through family games. Besides the financial damage, we're also emotionally devastated. Initially, we were still in contact with the owner, but for the past two weeks, we haven't received a response. I'm only writing this because I wouldn't wish this on anyone else. We are truly devastated.
I've been renting storage from Boxaround for a little under a year and I'm extremely satisfied. It's clean, there are all sorts of equipment like trolleys and handcarts you can use, and it's reasonably priced. The owner is also very friendly and helpful and always willing to help. I highly recommend it!
Great price, incredibly friendly and helpful owner, good cancellation terms (any day with a 14-day notice period), and I even borrowed his van because it didn't fit in my car. All in all, absolutely fantastic.
