Very disappointed with my experience at the Deansgrange NCT Centre. I visited for a retest and politely asked a staff member to explain the issues found with my car so I could better understand what needed to be fixed. Instead of helping, he ignored my questions, refused to explain anything, and treated me with disrespect.His attitude, body language, and overall customer service were unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I was polite and respectful throughout the interaction, so I expected the same in return. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and given clear explanations when they ask reasonable questions.This experience completely ruined my day and left a very negative impression. Because of the way I was treated, I will not be returning to this NCT centre and cannot recommend it based on my experience. I hope management addresses this issue and reminds staff that good customer service and respect are just as important as carrying out the test.

Got me in early, had everything done within 20 minutes, and even offered me a free coffee card. The red-haired guy who tested my car was so pleasant, professional, and polite throughout. Genuinely the best NCT experience I’ve ever had 🤣

I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable service I received during my recent visits to the NCT centre. I attended twice regarding a faulty bulb and was charged €40 on each occasion. During my first visit, a member of your staff clearly identified which bulb needed to be replaced. Despite following this guidance, I was required to return and was charged again for the same issue. This is completely unreasonable. I was effectively made to pay twice for a problem that was not properly resolved the first time, despite relying on the advice given by your staff. I consider these repeated charges unjustified. I am requesting an immediate explanation and a full refund of the second €40 charge. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the complaint further. I can provide receipts and any additional information required. I expect your prompt response.
