Went yo celebrate partners birthday with friends. Staff friendly, professional with a sense of humour which was really nice. Lovely sunny day, place bright and clean, staff attentive, will definitely visit again. Sat outside, the place is vibrant with a chilled vibe & multi cultural/multi generational. You won't be disappointed if you visit. Food and drink/snacks very reasonable for the city centre. Located opposite the town hall and worth a visit.
Recently renovated as part of the hive Town Hall fix, it's a lot more open plan. My only negative is places like Tampoopo etc who seem to think it's ok to have all their tables and chairs coming into the square so you have to dodge people eating their food just to walk through it.I like what they've done with it.
Albert Memorial in Manchester is a civic space situated in front of the Town Hall. It was under maintenance when i visited however has got enough space infront where statues of different historical person can be seen. There's a huge clock on the building top like a clock tower. This place shows the old civilisation and art work as well and gives enough peaceful space for day out with restaurants nearby.
