Put all the size details of my parcel into DHL express website. Got directions for closest drop off. There are no DHL signs on the building and you need to go to the rear not the front which isn't what it says on the direction given on gmaps. When I finally found the reception they (safestore self storage) stated they can't send my already packaged box unless it's packaged by them because that is how they get a price and they don't have a suitable (flat packed) box.
Service is excellent but it’s really confusing location. So the DHL drop off point is actually in the safestore reception.
Arrived exactly on opening time and DHL service point was open. First time I had used the system and Chris helped and explained. Very easy (I had completed on-line form) and quick. Really good service.
DHL hit their target of getting from the UK to Australia but handed over to Australia Post who let things slide badly. DHL’s reputation has suffered as trust in their commitments was eroded due to their use of an unreliable third party. The matter only resolved by complaint. Albeit at that stage prompt action was taken.
