Really disappointing; was hoping to buy some cardboard boxes - their website states office hours are 9am - 5pm, but there was no one around at 2.30pm (no one in the main lock up area either). Went again the next day, no one in the office just gone 9am, no one answering the phone. Tried the phone again and then was told there was no boxes available. Would be a good idea to update the website to current office hours and packaging availability to avoid others making wasted trips. Went to Lomers in Wisborough Green instead & was dealt with by a friendly and helpful lady in the office.

We required cost-effective, local storage for our household effects which returned from Australia on a 20' container. Sussex Self Store was able provide a Storage Room and additional storage crates to meet our needs in line with our timescales (when your container comes off the ship, you need to be able to take delivery immediately, or incur hefty costs from the shipping line). The facility was clean, dry and had multiple layers of security, which was exactly what we needed.On top of that, Chris is very friendly, responsive and an all-round lovely person to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sussex Self Store to anyone in need of a storage solution.Top marks!

Excellent service, flexible, secure and friendly. All you could want. I used SSS when I moved house and it made the process so much simpler having the extra space to use in the short term.

Very nice man to deal with - simple process and very secure with 24 hour access. Crucially - Easy parking and loading/unloading. Nice new dry units. Highly recommended.
