Excellent self storage : very easy to book , central location, automated control via iphone / Android app to access the storage, flexible options to change / modify; as I am back to France - I will definitely use it again; 5* for everything

Complicated cancellation, no willingness to engage in dialogue Customer since July 2026 (storage unit at the Morangis branch). The service and access to the unit were adequate on a daily basis, but my cancellation experience was very disappointing.I sent my notice on August 26th for a departure on September 9th. Shurgard invoked a notice period clause linked to the billing date, resulting in an additional month's charge. I contested this point in writing, with specific arguments, but I received no written explanation: only a phone call where I was simply told again that I had to pay, without any consideration of my objection, and with a brief mention of a debt collection agency in case of non-payment.What struck me most was the complete lack of willingness to engage in dialogue or to consider a customer disagreement, even one that was argued in writing. A business relationship that ends like this, without a written response or any openness to discussion, leaves a bitter taste after several months of contract. I recommend carefully reading the notice period conditions before signing, and prioritizing written communication from the first disagreement.

Excellent service and high-quality communication. A very positive experience with Shurgard, both in Champigny and again in Pontault Combault for a future move. I'm delighted to be able to use your services again.
