Ten days after finding a mouse behind me the day I was going to lock the unit and reporting it to the company, I put glue traps in my newly rented storage unit. It's incredibly disgusting to go to the facility and have to remove dead rodents every time I visit. They offer a free month if you stay for three months, but they don't warn you about the huge public health problem the facility poses. Nobody likes storing their belongings with mice. I don't recommend it.
The place inside is great, but the parking is terrible. It's a narrow street with hardly any parking spaces. We came with a large van and there was no way to park while we were unloading. So we were blocking the street while we unloaded, and the cars behind us were waiting and honking. Very stressful. If you have a lot of unloading to do, be prepared for a stressful situation.
