Absolutely horrendous service. I paid, received code, arrive at the location, and the lock doesn’t open for some reason even though I entered the exactly the code I received from storage box. Called customer service dial numerous times, “the phone number is not in use anymore.” Absolutely horrendous service. Don’t use this. It might as well be a scam. There are many incidents of uncompensated thief too.

BREAK-IN. THEFT. NO ONE HELPS. IGNORED TENANTS. Don't do it! These storage units are filthy, full of trash and dirt, and they stink. Nobody cares, nobody knows what's going on.In April 2025, my unit was broken into. Valuable items were stolen, and over a year later, nobody had bothered to address the damage – despite filing a police report, taking photos, providing an inventory of the value of the stolen items, and contacting them multiple times.Instead, I received payment reminders and threats of debt collection, even though my unit had long since been terminated due to being unusable. Automated standard emails are all you get from Storebox – real help? Non-existent.The whole thing has now been officially reported to the Hessian Consumer Center. But others should know: This company doesn't care; it ruthlessly exploits students and small apartments with high prices. Anyone who rents a unit here risks filth, chaos, theft, and total indifference.

Someone broke into the neighboring storage unit and stole items from my own.The insurance claim will likely take around six months, even though the police have already closed the case.This was my first time using this service, and definitely my last!Extremely disappointing.

The price per square meter here is sometimes €30. Far too expensive; the average rent in Fulda is less than a third of that. Why should I pay even more for storage space than for living space? Nonsense.
