I rented a storage unit here with a flexible rate because I wanted to store furniture for an upcoming move. However, I was honestly shocked by the condition of the facility.The entire hall looked neglected and unclean. Several lights were broken or flickering, making it very dark in places. This doesn't create a professional impression.I'm particularly concerned about the security: very thin metal walls, simple padlocks, and partially open construction with visible gaps at the doors and at the top and bottom of the units. In my opinion, this doesn't meet the security standards I expect from a storage unit.The customer restroom was also in very poor condition. There was trash lying around, the whole place was filthy, and there were residues on the toilet bowl. If you offer a restroom for customers, it should at least be clean and well-maintained.In hindsight, I'm glad I chose the flexible rate with monthly cancellation, so I'm not tied to this company long-term. I therefore cancelled my membership immediately.Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment for me and I wouldn't recommend it.

Beware of Storebox - An absolute disaster!I can only strongly warn against Storebox and their storage units! My storage unit was broken into and all my belongings were stolen – a loss of approximately €5,000. The worst part is that I specifically took out insurance through Storebox, which was supposed to protect my possessions. But what happened? Storebox offered me a ridiculous €1,200 in compensation!After I rejected this offer because it was completely disproportionate to my actual loss, Storebox stopped responding to my emails – both mine and those of my lawyer. This company is an outrage and doesn't take its customers seriously at all. The "insurance" is a complete rip-off! Stay away from this provider if you really want your belongings to be safe.Addendum to the operator's response:I still believe that the actual value of the stolen items is significantly higher. All items for which I have no receipt were simply omitted from the calculation, even though your cameras clearly showed that significantly more was stolen. It would therefore be helpful for me to know exactly how the loss in value was calculated in detail.However, I must also ask: If you are truly interested in conducting this process correctly and transparently, why are none of my emails or those of my lawyer being answered?

I rented a storage facility for €200 a month and went in regularly for inspections. When I first rented the facility, everything was fine. I visited the facility every now and then and it was fine. Documents and furniture were stored there. When I moved to a larger apartment, the moving company was supposed to transport the furniture and documents as well. A few weeks before the move, everything was fine. Then on the day of the move, I got the nasty surprise. Half of the documents and the furniture, as well as computers and other electronics, were covered in mold. Apparently there was a water leak related to the heavy rain in the summer. It happens. Unfortunately, StoreBox's handling of the situation is completely unacceptable. I have been waiting for months for the claim to be settled. Communication only occurs when I ask. The settlement is passed on to the insurance company. Statements are made very vaguely. I have abandoned my original plan to rent a smaller storage facility because it is 5 minutes away. I would rather use a different service provider. I suspect that I can only make progress here with legal assistance.
