iba Darmstadt is a friendly university where every student is valued, not just a number. Small class sizes of around 20-30 students make it possible to participate in lessons and ask lecturers direct questions. The campus is modern and offers a great place to take a break or study in the Study Lounge. :)
The current student advisory service is very helpful in finding a new practical training partner; the previous one was a disaster and extremely disorganized.The majority of the lecturers are competent and very friendly, but there are a few who make you wonder where they were recruited from. They're incredibly unfriendly, overly authoritarian, and sometimes downright misogynistic.However, the small class size makes the classes enjoyable, as it allows for good interaction and discussion.
I'm very happy at IBA! The lecturers are mostly very friendly and make every effort to convey the most important content. While there's no cafeteria at IBA, there are several snack and drink vending machines, as well as food options near the train station.
