What could I possibly do about the logistics of my 8-hour workday? He refused to understand he was calling the wrong department and threatened to report me. Real experts are employed by the city, aren't they?
The immigration office undoubtedly employs highly competent people.Unfortunately, you don't get that impression when no one answers the phone. After submitting online applications or email inquiries, you can typically expect to wait three to four weeks for a response, only to receive a generic, machine-generated email that is completely devoid of information and content and doesn't address your issue in any constructive way.If you need an in-person appointment promptly because a visa or something else is expiring, you should book it at least three months in advance. Otherwise, nothing will be available, and emails and inquiries outlining impending deadlines and the situation (since no one answers the phone) go unanswered. Instead, you might receive the aforementioned generic emails after several weeks of waiting, if you're lucky.
The staff is incredibly unfriendly. It's impossible to find an available appointment, even though no one is waiting. Online appointments are not possible. You have to wait two to three months for confirmation – it's a disaster.This institution doesn't deserve a single star.
Unprofessional staff, a real shame for the city of Kempten. You have to wait two months for a visa transfer appointment, and even then, there's no work available when you arrive. They might as well play cards or chess.When you ask, they just write a short reply saying it's not possible and that's it. Our problem is that they're incompetent and would rather drink coffee than help. The only solution is to get a lawyer!
