Unprofessional staff, a real shame for the city of Kempten. You have to wait two months for a visa transfer appointment, and even then, there's no work available when you arrive. They might as well play cards or chess.When you ask, they just write a short reply saying it's not possible and that's it. Our problem is that they're incompetent and would rather drink coffee than help. The only solution is to get a lawyer!
I submitted my application for an extension of my residence permit to your office. Three weeks have now passed without me receiving any response.During this time, I have made several attempts to contact you. I have sent a total of three emails to the provided contact address and tried to reach you by phone more than ten times. Unfortunately, all attempts to contact you have gone unanswered.My current residence permit expires in one month. The extension application was submitted on time approximately one month ago. Due to the lack of response and the current situation with appointment scheduling – appointments are not available for approximately two months – I
If it were possible to give zero stars, I would have done so; nobody ever answers the phone, the online application for ID card renewal was submitted at the beginning of December 2025, and to this day nothing has happened and my application has not been processed at all.
Bad experience with the public order office, no insight, stay away from Kempten.
