I visited Angelique's Beautyplace for the first time yesterday, and I'm absolutely thrilled! Upon entering the salon, I received an incredibly warm welcome from the entire team, and I immediately felt at ease. Uwe took his time and perfectly addressed my needs. I have been there twice for haircuts and the barbers were always professional and sweet. The main staff however exudes an insane amount of snobbery (which was also confirmed by a German friend of mine who they were rude to). This time they gave me an appointment for Sunday. Being non-German I didn’t think a lot about it. Probably it was a miscommunication - so I called them again to reconfirm and was met with a very rude and aggressive person who kept insisting “I don’t speak English, I don’t understand you” while articulating their thoughts properly in English anyway and said “what do you want from me? I have no appointment for you now” all the while being super aggressive which is very weird of someone running a business. Well never mind, I know of a hairdresser I won’t ever visit. Good luck to you if you plan to visit - hope you can speak German and exhibit a certain level of poshness. Pure trash 👍
