We rented a small storage unit here for half a year, and now that the time is up, I can finally leave a proper review. It started off nicely with a very convenient €1 for the first month, but from the moment we moved in, we were bombarded with at least six emails asking us to leave a review—even though it’s impossible to give any meaningful feedback when you’ve just arrived.Now, after six months of usage, here are my honest thoughts:The parking situation is pretty okay—you can reverse right up to the gate, which makes unloading easier. However, our unit was on the first floor, so we had to carry everything to a freight elevator located in the middle of the building, which meant a long walk from the entrance. There’s also a door along the way with no stopper, which makes the whole process quite annoying. We had to bend some loading devices to keep it open since we were alone during our move-out.The freight elevator is only for items—not for people—so after loading, you need to walk back and take the stairs to reach the first floor again. Once upstairs, there’s yet another door that doesn’t stay open, which further complicates the unloading process. I’ve added a photo of the elevator dimensions in case it helps others visualize the situation.The app to access the facility is decent, but setting it up is a bit tricky if you booked the unit online—you’ll likely need to call support to get it working properly. One frustrating thing is that you can only change your bank account details after canceling your standing order. That really shouldn’t be the case.For comparison, I reviewed another storage location in Vienna, and that one was far better organized. What really influenced my decision to rent here were the long opening hours, but unfortunately, they were changed without any clear notice. I couldn’t find an email informing me about this. Closing at 21:00 is simply too early, especially after a long workday—it used to be open until 23:00.In the end, I’m honestly relieved that we don’t have to use this storage anymore. I wouldn’t recommend it for anything long-term. Maybe it’s fine for one or two months as a temporary solution, but if you’re planning on storing things for a longer period, I’d definitely suggest looking into other providers.
