Lovespace functions on a book your delivery basis. They have charges of £7 for a full day window 7am-5pm, or more expensive services £10 for weekend and morning deliveries. Having booked the service for materials delivery on a Saturday (booked 1 week and a half in advance, with enough notice), my materials are due to arrive on Monday. There is no service support for this as everything redirects you to Royal Mail once the item is dispatched. It defeats the purpose of paying more to ensure that materials are delivered on a non-working day. This happened multiple times and while their materials are good, their reliance on royal mail never guaranteed trusted and reliable transport having to order other boxes from Amazon before move out date anyways.

Would leave negative stars if i could. Not only TERRIBLE customer service but it also way overcharges. After I got my boxes back I realized there was one box missing. I called customer service and they realized that my boxes went missing due to a warehousing issue. Not only did I have to pay for a separate delivery once that box was found (so i paid for two deliveries), it was found on a Thursday and because i needed it urgently i had to pay a premium to get it delivered on a Saturday as there was peak delivery charge. I called customer service to try to at least waive off the weekend charge but the guy hung up on me halfway.Will NOT recommend lovespace to anyone. Use some chinese wechat storage company instead that stores for Durham UK. They understand English so no communication issues, and its way cheaper.In total for lovespace, I paid close to a 100 pounds to have all my boxes returned and it was not even delivered to my room on the third floor ( i live in a student dorm with no lift). Delivery guy climbed 10 stairs to bring it from the roadside to the reception door and said he was “doing me a service” for climbing those 10 steps. I’m speechless..

Dishonest Bait and SwitchThe website seemed so easy. I studied it, opted for 4 large boxes, checked my scheduled, picked a delivery date, committed the money I needed. Bought boxes on Amazon next day delivery so I can start packing.ONLY AFTER I clicked pay and they took payment, they show you a page with a LONG LIST of what they do not STORE. How is this possible?Shouldn't you show this LIST before people click PAY. It's dishonest - you clearly want to collect payment first. I reserve all my consumer rights.And apparently my boxes are completely useless now because they aren't double walled. Well, guess who I have to buy them from - Lovespace, who will make a no less than 50% mark-up on their boxes.Really dishonest customer service.

Extremely poor handling of my items - Like others here, I hardly ever write negative reviews, but this company has forced my hand in this case. I had a piano in storage in 2 parts with a stool. On return of the item, the piano stand was completely scratched up, and the wood was broken on one end. The company had tried to mend it unsuccessfully using staples in wood (which obviously did not hold), and this was confirmed by the delivery driver. On contacting the company, they said it was not their responsibility and I would get no compensation as I did not have the LOVESPACE officials pack my items (which is an additional expensive paid service). If you decide not to pay for this, they get to decide what counts as 'properly packed' and so naturally they don't pay out anything. My piano stool was also lost and not returned. Customer service was very slow to respond but at least answered my questions clearly. The claims, however, also took longer than the promised 15 working days to be replied to. Mind you, all of this is after I paid for their supposed 'insurance'.Overall terrible experience for a so-called 'student-friendly' service, and given the fact that the pricing model isn't even cheap, I would not recommend to anyone.
