Wouldn't use again and definitely would not recommend. After vacating half way through the month I was told that I would have half a month's rent and my deposit back in my account bank account within 3 - 5 days. It took nearly a month and all the I received was the the deposit. Goods in storage damaged aswell.
NOT SO SECURE STORAGE! I had a car in storage here for several months until it had a number of parts including the catalytic converter stolen off it and the paintwork damaged, leaving me with an insurance claim for nearly £1k. The biggest disappointment was the lack of interest that this had happened on their premises and that I was told they didn’t have time to look through the CCTV! Go Store basically washed their hands of the incident and said the police would have to review the CCTV themselves if they wanted to find out when it happened, to enable them to further their investigation. In hindsight I wish I had just parked the car on the street as it would have been just as safe and would have saved my monthly payments.
I have rented a lockup within the Grassmoor Go-Store building since around June 2020, filling it with plastic storage boxes containing items spanning my 60 years of items. This lockup has been an Absolute Godsend for me. It's a very decently-priced rental. It's dry and dust-free and is within a Very Secure Building. The main gate is locked at night but has CCTV monitoring, inside and out! I have now emptied my lockup and moved all my stuff into my home and attic. I'm very grateful to the Staff at the Grassmoor 'Go-Store' for their help when needed over the past 2 years! Many Thanks! Pete
