Mercer repair Contacted the shop via WhatsApp and got a very quick response. Unfortunately the cost of repair was very high. Not due to the charges by the shop, but due to the scarcity of the parts. Thank you very much for your help and advice

I texted Justin this morning as the middle chain dropped off my grandfather clock - Justin was quick to respond via text and got to speak to him, he was full of encouragement to help me fix. Contacted with regard an old Enfield clock I had, which had not run for over 10 years. A local clock shop had told me it wasn’t worth repairing. Really glad I tried again. My clock is now up and running again. Service was absolutely first rate with clear advice and an excellent assessment done over WhatsApp first. Justin turned out to be the most helpful chap. I had a Smiths Sectric clock from 1938 that was mis-behaving, The local clock man was a little uncomfortable with working on it and declined. A Google search found Justin and that he had worked on these clocks before. A trip down to Braintree proved an excellent choice. Justin said, 'Well, lets have a quick look' and about an hour later, the required work had been done and the clock is now back in my kitchen and doesn't miss a beat. Thanks Justin!
