I am writing to report the inappropriate behavior of a town hall employee, without questioning the conduct of the rest of the staff.On February 4th at 9:30 a.m., during the ID card collection, a woman with a blonde haircut, glasses, and a somewhat heavyset build, whose first name begins with the letter A, was insulting to my grandmother, who had come to collect her ID card. She disrespectfully told my grandmother that she had never been there before, that she was at the wrong town hall, and that she couldn't remember anything, even though my grandmother is perfectly lucid. She was disrespectful and extremely rude, not only to my grandmother but also to her colleague who came to help and found the ID card in two seconds, after we had been trying for 20 minutes. She didn't even apologize and remained as unpleasant as could be.I don't understand how people with such a severe lack of education can be in positions of public service and assistance; it's simply unacceptable. I am extremely shocked by the way my grandmother was treated, despite having lived in Halluin for many years.Thank you to her other colleague for being the person she is, capable of doing her job and showing empathy.
