I decided on a container warehouse because I didn't want to have to deal with storing it at my family's house anymore. Everyone keeps something, and it's hard to retrieve it or even remember where it is. Here, everything is in one place and the whole thing is closed. I drive up, open it, and have access to my belongings without having to ask anyone for a favor. It seems simple, but it's a very convenient solution.

I treat my self-storage unit a bit like an extra room, just outside the house. I keep things there that I don't use every day, but I also don't want to get rid of. It's made my apartment feel more relaxed and cozy. Every now and then, I take a trip and look through my stuff. It sounds strange, but it really gives me a sense of control over my belongings.
