It has been nothing but nasty experiences:At first, I overlooked the annual contract—after all, my experience so far is that you can always cancel anywhere.After a few weeks, the clothes were damp/wet—which necessitated a costly second storage unit! So, double rent for a year! And double moving costs!The elevator is completely unreliable, and not only the movers but I, too, got stuck in it alone for a long time once!There were continuous break-ins, and the gate was broken for a long time.To put it bluntly: an unsafe, unnecessarily expensive, dishonest, unprofessional bunch!

Do not rent a storage box here!! Boxcomplex matches tenants with landlords, and if you are unlucky, like me, Boxcomplex matches you with a dishonest landlord! You rent a box for a minimum of 12 months, no problem. But woe betide you if you cancel after a year; then you have an angry landlord on the phone informing you that he has to pay brokerage fees to Boxcomplex to mediate with a new tenant, and he certainly isn't going to bear these costs alone! If you subsequently indicate that you have strictly adhered to the annual contract and do not intend to contribute to the costs, the amount is then deducted from your deposit by the landlord, and you also do not receive back the overpaid electricity advance payment.... I presented this whole story to Boxcomplex, and they acknowledge that the landlord is at fault but say they can't do anything about it! Very disappointing, Boxcomplex! You match me with the landlord, who is already on your radar as a difficult landlord, and then you wash your hands of it!
