I've had nothing but bad experiences: First, I overlooked the annual contract—you can cancel anywhere anytime, that's my experience so far. After a few weeks, the clothes were damp/wet—which necessitated an expensive second storage unit! So, double the rental costs for a year! And double the moving costs! The elevator is completely unreliable, and not only the movers, but I too once got stuck in it for a long time! There were constant break-ins, and the gate was broken for a long time. In short: an unsafe, unnecessarily expensive, dishonest, and unprofessional company!

Don't rent a storage unit here!! Boxcomplex connects tenants with landlords, and if you're unlucky, like me, Boxcomplex connects you with a rogue landlord! You rent a unit for a minimum of 12 months, no problem. But woe betide you if you cancel after a year! You'll have an angry landlord on the phone, telling you they have to pay Boxcomplex agency fees to mediate with a new tenant, and they certainly won't cover these costs alone! If you then indicate that you've fully complied with the annual contract and don't intend to contribute, the landlord will then deduct the amount from your deposit, and you won't receive a refund for the overpaid electricity advance. I explained this whole story to Boxcomplex, and they acknowledge the landlord is at fault but say they can't do anything about it! What a shame, Boxcomplex! They'll connect me with the landlord, who you already have a reputation for being a difficult landlord, and then they'll turn their backs on him!
