Booked a 35 foot storage unit online with Shurestore Stevenage without any issues. Got a call from them the next day saying they had measured the unit I had been allocated and it was smaller than 35 foot so they were going to assign a bigger one. Security seems good with access to the carpark / building and lifts controlled via an app. Staff seem very friendly and happy to answer queries.
We were very impressed. Compared with Safe Store, the unit was modern, light and very easy to use via the app. Everything was extremely well explained and we were shown all aspects of entry. Having a pallet lifter and pallet made move our belongings easy with a minimum of trips. Our only observations are that the lift was too low to accommodate a 1.98m tall piece of furniture, but was at least deep enough to accommodate it lying down, so no massive issue, plus limited access hours (without extra cost) at the weekend. Recommended.
When we arrived, we found the reception area very comfortable and tidy. On arrival we were greeted by a member of staff who asked us to sit, while he dealt with another customer who arrived prior to us. We waited for a little while for him to become free, and by then another customer had arrived and was asked to wait. The staff member was very pleasant and dealt with us as quickly and efficiently as possible. Taking us through all the relevant details and showing us the space allocated. We requested a larger space, which was agreed. The only query was that on a Saturday which was really busy, why was there only one member of staff to deal with customers. The storage spaces were very clean as was the whole facility. We were very pleased , with the ability to use the facility without staff being present, and thought the security was excellent. Altogether a very positive experience. So pleased we Booked with this company
