We tried to retrieve some items from a storage unit on Friday, January 2nd at 3:30 PM, but the facility was closed. We drove 1500 km, rented a van, and were left high and dry to find the agency closed. The website says it's open, but as of this writing, the agency closes at 6:30 PM. We spoke to someone on the phone who told us the store was closed and that there was a note on the window. They explained that it closes at 5 PM and that we wouldn't have access until Monday. We called seven days prior, and they never mentioned it would be closed. We tried to negotiate with the person on the phone; we were even prepared to go and get the keys ourselves, but nothing—no goodwill gesture, no willingness to reconsider.

If only I could have given 0 stars... Movers to avoid at all costs!! They broke so much during my move. Shameful. And after payment, you never hear from them or their so-called insurance company again. Frankly, it's shameful, and I won't let this dispute with them go. I strongly advise against using them if you value your belongings... I say this when things are great, but this is something to avoid. They broke glass cabinets, scratched a table, wrote on a sofa with a ballpoint pen, broke light fixtures, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some things!!! Oh, and let's not forget the suggestive drawings left by these so-called movers... STAY AWAY!Your response to this review makes me chuckle => taking advantage of someone over 70 to ask them to leave a review! Just look at the photos, and even then, I'm limited by Google! And as for your insurer's "kindness in opening" a claim => I had to ask multiple times. Shameful, I'm not going to let this go, especially with your stupid response!

Shameful! They broke my shutter. Okay, it was an accident, but they won't take responsibility. I can't even open it! They're hiding behind their insurance, and the so-called expert appointed by the insurance company thinks their policyholder isn't responsible!?!? It's obvious! There was a loud, metallic noise when a large piece of furniture was being moved over it, even though there were three witnesses. I'm not going to let this go. There's no way I'm shirking my responsibilities. It's time to take responsibility.
