Excellent Service and easy admin!
We had rats in our storage unit. We had to throw away our kids toys and clothes because rats ate through them and slept in the boxes. The Sofa was damaged beyond repair.Sadly Shurgard and the insurance company, Marsh, made our life miserable. Intentionally it seemed, to avoid compensation. And eventually paid a fraction of our damage.The insurance you get with Shurgard has two problematic clauses hidden in the small letters: underinsurance clause, and deductible for vermin damage. I recommend to choose another storage company. But if you must use Shurgard, remember to take external insurance not through Shurgard and prepare mentally for the moment you discover rat poop on everything you own.
Fantastic service, extraordinarily accomodating and helpful, even under difficult circumstances and on short notice. Shurgard have made my move to Sweden a whole lot less stressful!
