I've stored practically all my belongings here for five years. The reason for leaving: without informing me, they emptied my storage unit because a drainpipe needed to be installed. Items weren't put back in the same place, and two days before my departure abroad, I had to retrieve all the things I'd packed up and packed again. This resulted in extra costs because I couldn't find everything and had to buy new ones. That same evening, the remote control didn't open my storage unit (which can't lock itself), but someone else's! A programming error? So this could happen to someone else. They apologized for forgetting to inform me about the drainpipe. I could have gotten a free month if I wanted it, but the apology didn't feel sincere and I was no longer safe after the break-in and the remote control issue. After a few weeks in Spain, I flew back to the Netherlands because I wasn't feeling well and moved my belongings to a different storage unit with doors that can be locked. No more remote controls or unauthorized access to my belongings!
