Received excellent service. Ordering was easy via the website. I received a polite call in advance. The driver was friendly and explained everything. Unfortunately, our renovation was delayed because the floor was not laid properly. We were able to easily extend the rental period. After the renovation, our belongings came out looking neat again. Even after the massive downpours following the heatwaves of the past few weeks. The pickup took place 2 days later than we had extended. But after making a quick call, I was told that everything is planned as efficiently as possible. Which I naturally understand in terms of costs and the environment. I can recommend Opslagbakkie to everyone. Just convenient, right at your doorstep!

I had reserved 4 storage containers at Opslagbakkie for June 5, 2026, because our floor was to be demolished on June 8 for the installation of underfloor heating. This was not a no-obligation appointment, but an essential part of our renovation.On Friday afternoon around 14:30, I called myself to check if everything was proceeding according to schedule. Around 15:00, I received a call back stating that their truck had broken down. I was told that they would try to find a solution and call me back.That never happened.Instead, I had to keep contacting them myself. Eventually, I only got voicemail.On Saturday morning, June 6, starting around 09:30, I called multiple times and left several voicemail messages urgently requesting a callback. When I finally managed to speak to someone, I was told that the appointment had already been cancelled on Friday.That is not what I was told. I was told that a solution was being sought and that I would be called back. The result was that I was stuck over the weekend with about 40 m³ of items that had to be removed before June 8th so that the demolition work could begin. Because it was the weekend, many alternative storage companies were closed, leaving me with a major problem.What bothered me most was the attitude on the phone. Little understanding was shown for the situation, no alternative was offered, and no responsibility was taken. When I asked to speak to a manager, I waited on hold for nearly 20 minutes only to be told that no manager was available.A vehicle breaking down can happen. What I don't understand is how a company that supplies storage containers throughout the Netherlands is apparently completely dependent on a single vehicle, without any form of contingency plan or alternative in case something goes wrong.If the story that their only truck broke down is true, then that only raises more questions. Why is there no reserve capacity? Why isn't an external party being called in? Why is a customer with a time-critical appointment being strung along instead of receiving immediate clarity? Instead of seeking a solution, I was strung along from Friday afternoon until Saturday. As a result, I lost valuable time arranging an alternative myself, and ultimately ended up with a problem that could have been avoided if there had been honest and clear communication.The defective truck was ultimately not the biggest problem. The lack of communication, the absence of feedback, and the absence of any responsibility were.Based on my experience, I absolutely cannot recommend Opslagbakkie.

Pay attention to the fine print!You are asked to keep space clear in front of the door, but apparently one car length wasn't enough. The driver couldn't park the box in front of the door…Additionally, be aware that transport costs are added outside of Flevoland! I live in Hilversum and that was easily 130.- (I guess twice).These two points, and the unfriendly driver, led me to decide against it. But then you get nothing back. That is also stated in the fine print… Scandalous behavior!
