I rented a storage unit from this agency for over two years. While the staff were friendly when I signed up, things turned out to be quite different afterward.The day before two public holidays and a long weekend, I received an email from the agency informing me that they would need access to some of the units to install support posts for the construction of a mezzanine. After several calls, I received no specific information about the work or a concrete date (only that "it wouldn't be for a while"). The only offer offered was an outdoor container to move my belongings (without any amendment to the contract).Three days later, the day before the Pentecost weekend, the agency informed me that I had to empty my unit in five days. Faced with this obvious lack of organization, and being away for a relative's funeral, I requested an additional three days' extension.Present on the agreed date, I arrived with my partner to completely empty my storage unit in one trip, during opening hours. And then... the gate was out of order, impossible to get out. We called every available number, without success. Our vehicle was stuck all night, and we had to pay for a hotel room at a nearby establishment that still had availability, for the modest sum of €98.30.During this move, I noticed that construction work had actually been underway in the building for some time. A new development in the two years I had rented from them: my belongings were completely covered in a thick layer of construction dust, which had even seeped into the electronics. I'll let you guess what I had to do with some of my things.I sent two emails to the agency and tried to contact them several times by phone. I never received a response. I subsequently sent a registered letter to their headquarters: nothing. Needless to say, this "quality of service" has, of course, come with a two-year rental price increase.You'll know what interests them, and I hope you never have any problems with them. Fortunately, other, more reputable companies still exist.
Storage made easy! We rented two storage units from Homebox Chartres, and everything was very easy and transparent, from the initial discussions to the termination of contracts. The premises are clean, accessible at all times, and the staff are easy to reach. We highly recommend!
